Hi. I finished nursing school in May and took my NCLEX RN earlier this month. I got all 265 questions and failed. I used the Hurst review as well as the NCLEX RN Mastery app to study. I am just confused as to what went wrong, because last year I took the NCLEX PN after using the same two study materials (hurst and nclex pn mastery) and I passed with 85 questions which is the minimum. Does anyone know the differences between the two tests? Is the PN more focused on the content and the RN more focused on the strategy of answering the questions and on prioritizing? Or is the RN just simply harder? I felt like I knew the content but it didn't seem like what I knew was helping me answer the questions. I haven't gotten my CPR in the mail yet and I know that it will show me my weak areas, but just wanted to ask on here to see if maybe I can figure out what I'm missing between the two. Any input is appreciated and thanks in advance!

I did Uworld and took notes on every rationale and then read through them everyday. Not super detailed notes, just stuff I thought was important, maybe 2-3 sentences each. NCLEX was literally the easiest test I took after a few weeks of doing that. I felt like it was exactly like the NCLEX questions.
