I am new to the site and looking for help. So i failed the nclex at 77 questions, does this mean that i bombed the last questions of the test if they didnt just shut me off at 75. I feel like a failure. I have no idea what happened. I ended on a specialty psych question. I feel terrible. Can anyone tell me what my progress may have been to shut me off at 77. I had 6 select all that apply and 2 pediatric math problems, and a question were i had to look through a chart. Was I at least close. I dont want to give up but failing with 77 really hurts. Thank You
Thank you all. It is hard, but grieving as the days goes on is healing all wounds. Good luck illbeanrn on your nclex. Your success is my motivation. I have heard and read that the review from ncbsn website is great, I mean they are the ones who write the test and monitor so they would know best. I plan to retest in march at the earliest time. It is inspiring that there are others like me who have passed and gives me hope
I'll be praying for our success. I knew how you felt when you found out that you failed. What I did is, I sulk for 3 days and cried and said to myself "ok, I'm done crying I need to detached from that feeling and move on" Sometimes it's hard but there is really no choice but move forward.
If people here could do it, so can we. Right? Goodluck again and I'll be praying. :)
Just a little hope for you: I failed the first time at 78 questions, passed the second time with 75. If there's hope for me, there's hope for anybody! Just study, stay concentrated, and take it day by day. Take your depression time (I took a few months because I couldn't handle the truth) but then get back on that horse! You just have to realize that you didn't graduate because you're stupid! You graduated because the school you went to thought you were able and prepared to take AND pass the NCLEX! Believe in yourself...
Good luck!
