Failed NCLEX looking at different study options...input

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

So I failed NCLEX the first time and feel really down on myself. I thought I was well prepared by studying Saunders about 150 questions a day and reading rationales. My fellow classmates recommended doing LaCharity's Prioritization but I didnt start doing that 2 weeks prior to my test. Took the test, computer shut off at 91 questions :( FAILED

Now I'm looking for alternatives, I was thinking of doing Hurst or Kaplan but I dont have the kind of money to shell out. So I was looking at alternatives, I'm asking for people's opinion about the following:

NurseVersity (I saw this at the NSNA conference)

Picmonic (Also saw this at the NSNA conference)

NCSBN review

Thanks in Advance!

I would recommend Kaplan. I passed NCLEX last week with 75 question. Kaplan did help me master priority questions, and delegation questions. Their videos and practice questions are closest to nclex. As you are unable to afford Kaplan, you can ask if someone who has it can accept to allow you use it, what you need is just to use the same username and password. Do not be discourage, keep studying. Wish you good luck.

I actually just signed up for Picmonic and really like them. They have crazy stories and pics to help you remember all the weird little details that are so easy to forget. I've never been one of those people who can just remember everything I read without effort...I'm pretty much the polar opposite. So it's awesome to find something that works for me.

I think they have a free trial if anyone wants to check them out.
