  1. I actually just signed up for Picmonic and really like them. They have crazy stories and pics to help you remember all the weird little details that are so easy to forget. I've never been one of those people who can just remember everything I read without effort...I'm pretty much the polar opposite. So it's awesome to find something that works for me. I think they have a free trial if anyone wants to check them out.
  2. I mean, most hospitals favor BSN nurses, but that's not exactly the final answer. There are places that will appreciate you if you just widen your search scope :)
  3. I think it's more about time management and efficient studying than anything else. Find what works for you regarding studying, and stick with it. Some people work best with text based studying, and some work better with pictures. There are study tools out there for everyone. Just know that life doesn't have to end as a nursing student as long as you prioritize and manage time effectively.
  4. I agree. People (men and women) should follow their calling. If it's being a nurse- then more power to you! Although there might be a higher percentage of female nurses at the moment, there are still tons of awesome male nurses out there. Don't discount them! It's more about being passionate about your chosen profession than your chromosomes :)
