Hi there Sandraan,

I know this posting was done years ago but I'm in a similar situation as these people who were not successful with the CRNE exam. Long story short, I took the NCLEX a year later and passed!! I'm officially a US- RN. Feels great to say that, although it'll be a few months before I get into the US with visa screening and what not....I'm having difficulty looking for work in my field in the meantime while here in Ontario. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. At the same time I've been hiding the fact that I've not been nursing for a while from some friends and acquantances. Most think I just can't get a job. I get bothered by the reactions I get from some people like 'what a shame and you've worked so hard for many years' type of reaction. It's been a rollar coaster and now that I am an USA- RN I still feel sadness because of the wait and paper work to the US, starting a new life, changes etc. Anyways, I hope I get words of inspiration from you as I've seen in your message years ago.
