Hello everyone. I have taken my boards-AGACNP exam. The new format. And I didn't pass it. I was sick to my stomach ?. I did Barkley. Fitzgerald. Another study book. I did over 1000 questions. I felt it was not a hard exam for I was prepared. I was in shock when the man gave me my paper and it said. Fail ?. U have to wait 60 days. Pay regular price ($350) and test again. My anxiety is through the roof.
anyone with the same issues? And recommendations??
thanks

> I am so sorry to hear this. What is most frustrating is you have to wait 3 months to retake. Can you do it through another testing agency? I don't know which one you took it through, but can you still use the other of the AACN or AANP? Especially while the test is fresh in your mind. Did you find out where you missed out?

Do you know if the retest will be the same set of questions or different all together. I also failed the first time and am waiting to retest. Very upsetting! I am trying to go back through a few study exam books and noted. I just DO NOT want to make this mistake again. Any advice appreciated!

agacnptobe...not sure if you still check this forum being as your posts are over a year old BUT figured it was worth a shot. When you retook the exam, did you see any of the same questions or was it an entirely new set of questions?? THANK YOU!!!!
Yes many of the same questions. I wrote down every question that I could remember from my first test. I studied those hard. The second time I was calm .... My anxiety killed me on the first try... Passed the second time with flying colors. Don't beat yourself up.. Regroup, recollect and pray! You've got this
Would you mind if I contacted you outside of this forum? Do you have an email address I can contact you at? I'd put mine but it's my name and I'm weird about that! Ha :) thank you SO MUCH for the response!!! You have no idea how much better I feel now!
