Fail Mail Nclex

First of all, what did you already pay for? Did you pay for Pearson Vue or to your Board of Nursing? Every state is different. I re-registered & paid for my re-exam NCLEX before I got my fail mail. But I wasn't allowed to pick a date until I got my ATT. I doubt you have to pay for it again.

I'm from CA. I paid for pearson, i believe.....pearson was $200 and the boards is $150.............i had no idea i had to pay for both!

Yeah I know, it's basically registering all over again. In Florida, I had to pay $200 for Pearson & to the BON for a re-examination application for $119. Once I was approved by the BON, they sent me my ATT. Good Luck!

where are you in florida? ill be taking my nclex PN this may 24th ...any advice?

I also live in Florida and will be taking my nclex for the 2nd time. How long did it take for the board to let Pearson know you were eligible? Did you get your att before the 45 days? I called the Board of Nursing but I keep getting different answers.

Hey I also stay in florida and taking my exam for the second time. When I re-registered with the board I kept on checking the website to see my application process. My information was there but it wasnt being reviewed so I called them and told them that my application has been there for almost 3 weeks and havent been reviewed. I also sent a e-mail, I got an e-mail back saying that it might take a month for the whole process, but in two days everything was finalized, I beileve it's because I called and sent an e-mail. But yes I got my ATT 3 days later and picked my test day with 4 weeks to study. If its been 3 weeks check on-line and give them a call. Good luck next time.

Since you called, send them an e-mail and you will get a response within 24 hours, it was helpful to me. But if you just sent in your application give them some time.

some pay pearson vue before their application is even approved, but what i did was as soon as i saw that i was approved on-line, i paid pearson vue. you can pay but it won't let you schedule a test date until you receive your att. pearson will receive your att within 5 days of approval the e-mail said, mine was received in 3. when you get approved on-line pay for your exam, and as soon as pearson receives your att they send it to you via e-mail before you even get it in the mail. so i checked my e-mail everyday and as soon as i received it i scheduled my test date. i got everything done way before my 45 days.

How have you been studying this time around? The first time I knew I wasn't ready but decided to go for it anyway. This time I am using Kaplan and it has definitely helped me.

go to the florida board of nursing, click on application statues check, pick registered nurse and yes the password and username is the same as the first one. if you forgot it like i did you can call them and they will give it to you.

i took the exam the first time without studying and did it because everyone else was taking and asking me when i was. so i took the first time for everyone else and not for me, big mistake. this time i'm doing the kaplan qtrainer exams, so far done the first 5 and got 70% and above on all of them. i'm using saunders for content review (great book), and answering questions from la charity and exam cram.
