Could someone explain what "52 shares" or "89 shares" is all about? It's that little thing that comes up at the beginning of an article to the left-hand side.

    Does it mean it was "shared" on Facebook or some other social media? I'm not that tech savy as AN is my only internet addiction:saint:.

    I've noticed that it will sometimes 'roll up' increasing numbers quickly as the thread opens.
