I shall wait with not-bated breath to see what this is about (only because I think I deserve to breathe in the meantime).
Have fun, Davey!

Please do breathe, JKL.
Not only because you are so good at undergoing spontaneous respirations, but also because I have three different art projects going on this day and am not sure I will be working on this one any time soon.
Thanks again, JKL!
Here is the current color I have for a subsequent poster's thread color:
This color is very close, but it has just a touch of blue in it, don't you think?
I lessen the blue by five points. Let's see how that looks:
I can still see some blue. I'll drop the blue 5 points more:
Five more points:
Now it's too gray, so I'll add 2 points of blue:
One more point of blue:
Good enough, because the worst enemy of good is better.
On to make a GIF!
OKAAAAYYYYY!!! Not sure where you are going with this Davey but I will bite (probably shouldn't but mehhh nothing ventured, nothing gained) and who knows, it might be fun.

Once you did that it was invisible (to me).

Hmmmmm, some kind of faint yellowy/green but just visible.

I think you are making that up. ??. I know there is something there (because I have captured it) but I am not seeing it.
Not sure if this helps/hinders/indifferent.
Keep me posted.
Samples posted, in order:
1. Very light blue
2. Very very light blue
3. Pretty much nothing
4. Very light Spring green
5. Very very light Spring green
6. Almost invisible Spring green

So I posted this ^ and was like...wait, why is everything white now?!
I thought maybe I wrecked my photoreceptors by trying to discern your color swatches. ?
It turns out I just never start a thread, so never see my own post on a white background.
I enjoy discussing art even more than nursing. Nursing was a worthy livelihood and I'm very thankful for having been a nurse and am proud of what I did. But I love art, so thank you Grumpy and JKL for your comments.
Grumpy- this is merely another on of my endeavors at entertaining myself. My plan is to make a color that that I can use as a background color for posts made other than the OP.
In order to find that color, I needed to have an area to experiment. JKL graciously fulfilled my equest to start this thread so I could play around with colors.
I laughed out loud at the photoreceptor line, JKL. I also appreciate your perception of the colors as females tend to have more rods and cones on their retinas than men do. Belinda not only has a great eye for color, she has an incredible color memory.
We'll be out shopping and she will see something and will say, "This matches something at home". Sure enough, we'll bring it home, and a perfect match. Belinda is also god with complimentary colors.
Getting back to your perception, JKL, I agree with the "pretty much nothing". It's not perfect, but hey- we're not titrating morphine here, are we?
Thanks again, Grumpy & JKL!

I have always said that "peach is not a colour, it is a fruit."
Now that is a hard question to answer. You've almost stymied my somewhat prolific ability to respond (as if....) ?
I have a lot of thoughts about things, but it's probably better for all our sakes if I corral myself and don't start writing dissertations about anything--aside from my verbose replies, that is.
Or maybe I'm just selfish. This site has been instrumental in helping me consolidate my thoughts and feelings and make some decisions that were/are important to me as a nurse and a person. I'm thankful for that.
I try to help people if I can. I have a lot of empathy for some of the posts/posters I reply to. And sometimes, other times, my replies are more geared toward challenging some nursing-related points of view that I'm rethinking as I spend time in this profession.

...I could or wanted to stymy your prolific pontifications!
Seriously though, a outstanding ability to express yourself, JKL, has been noted.
I just wonder if you came up with a controversial topic with a non- mainstream premise to which you ardanately believed, how would you respond to those who disagreed?
I've read threads where attacks are made on the person, and threads where attacks are made on both the premise and the person. Rarely do I read threads where soley the premise is attacked.
Too many emotional members who love drama.
You could change that, you know, JKL.
@JKL33 This is the the image I came up with due to your appreciated assistance:
It can be found in this thread, JKL:
