exit hesi

Thank you to all who are taking the time to read this blog! I am need of truthful advice from current nursing students who have passed the exit hesi and RNs who have taken the exit hesi! I am taking my exam on Monday and I am scared to death! I have been hearing different advice from different people "just do practice questions " others have said "just read your hesi book" I have done both and I am scoring 780 on my practice test on my best grade. Please please I am welcoming all advice on how to pass this exit hesi! Thanks to all who take the time to read and respond to me!

    I scored HESI exit with 982 , I read hesi book 2 times and I did questions constantly, I can give you free app to practice, I have used and I used saunders, kaplan a little, nclex 3000, and tons of qb.

    Do practice questions! You need to be able to critically think through why you are choosing your answers. This is how I studied for Exit and for NCLEX. It is about content, but more about using those strategies they teach in chapter 5 from the Saunders book to properly choose answers and understand why you are doing so. Not sure if every school uses that Saunders NCLEX book but hopefully you have it.

    Nikki, I have the Saunders book, when I do the practice questions after each chapter I don't miss any. But when I do the mybestgrade.com I can't get above 750-780. Which Saunders are you recommending I have the comprehensive 6th edition. No my school doesn't provide it I bought it in my own thankfully

    The Saunders you have must be the yellow book I believe or it may be the blue one which is what I had. You just got to keep doing the practice questions and maybe try a different source for questions. Have you used the disc from the Saunders book because theres plenty to do on it. I used it constantly along with my other sources of questions, but that disc is really helpful especially for content based knowledge.
