excelsiors online conferences: care plan, documentation or skills. anyone taken any/all and can share whether they found them helpful or a waste of time?
i'm trying to lay my plan of attack to study. i think i will take the cpne workshop in pa, and some or all of the online conferences if others found them worthwhile.
thanks in advance for any help.

I did not take any of the workshops that excelsior offers, but if I had to do it over again I would have taken the care planning for sure. I failed for one word in one of my PCS. I was not prepared with the care planning. Lucky for me I am passed the CPNE on my first try! I think a lot of people fail PCS for there lack of documentation. I know one other girl that failed one of her PCS for not being right on with her documentation. I guess be as prepared as you can! Good luck!

Hello lisa, My EC workshop got cancelled and they suggested I take the 3 online classes that are basically the workshop, without hands on. At first wasnt too sure, because how convient they refund my 755$ and 3 workshops were 600+, anyway, I took the skills online first (4weeks), at the same time had to take the careplan(2weeks), and the documentation is next month (2weeks), you can access them 24/7. I test in 4 weeks and a day:eek::eek:. Wasn't thinking I really needed theses classes, but I WAS WRONG, I couldnt believe how much they have improved my readiness for this test, I found out info I have never read or seen before. At first I got a little freaked out, because there is so much you do it this way you fails examples, but I highly recommend all three, worth money:yeah::yeah: Donna
