I've scheduled the Transition to the Registered Professional Nurse Role exam in 2 weeks. I'm using Lisa Arends notes and the Excelsior practice exams. For those of you who took the exam, did the practice exams really help with the real exam? The Content Guide seems straight-forward, but I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing by giving myself 2 weeks of intense studying!

I thought all the practice exams helped. I bought them for all the exams.

I test on Saturday for Repro and then I just paid for Transitions today. What is the average time that you all used to prepare? It 2 weeks enough? Ive taken 4 for the rest and I see that the RUE QRG is half as much material as the others. Thanks guy.

I've studied for 3 weeks for the Repro exam and used the Excelsior practice exams, Study Group 101 notes, and the NCLEX-RN Made Incredibly Easy book to study, and got an A!
Thanks. I think Im going to schedule it for June 6th---and next week I will have company so I wont be able to study much. That will give me a solid 2 weeks and on/off next week. I dont work (I do have 2 kids though ) Im confident---I think...LOL!
