Excelsior Suggested Pharmacology Book

I am curious as to if other people read the assigned chapters in the pharmacology books, or read just the portions that were mentioned in the readings of the med-surg book.

I tend to just find the medications mentioned in the med surg chapters that are assigned. This time I am going to read all off the chapters but still make my notes off of what I came across during the med-surg reading.

I am, simply due to getting an early start on doing things the 'Excelsior way'.

I'm not saying I don't note reading topics from different sources but if they list the reading I do it.

The CPNE is their way or no way, I gotta prepare my mindset for that.

I simply have to clear 18 years of doing things my way, or the short cut way, and learn to focus on the 'Excelsior way'.

Hope that helps some. :)

I don't see how you would shortchange yourself by doing the recommended readings, including those in the pharm text.
