In order to register for the CPNE you need to be within 10 gen ed credits of completion. I left 2 classes until the end, sociology and lifespan psych, thinking I would have so much time to get those done while waiting for a date. What I didn't realize was how much work there is getting through the application process and then wanting to get started on studying for CPNE. Plus, I applied early March and already have a date for the end of June so its a lot quicker then I anticipated making it more difficult for me to get the other classes out of the way. I wish I had done them first, so thats my advice for you- get them over with now!!
i started all of the nursing exams, but i only have micro and anatomy to finish (yeah, only =-). so, in a couple of weeks, when i finish lifespan 3, i'm not gonna drop a beat, i'm gonna get microbiology out of the way. i'm hoping to finish it up about the same time as the fcca. then, i'm going to a workshop the first of june, then, hopefully, finish anatomy in mid june, and cpne around august. i got in on the package they offered last summer though, so i got no choice, those two have to be done by the end of july or i pay a hefty price. it sounds like a great plan. i hope i can keep up the pace! good luck on whichever way you choose!

Hi
Should I complete my nursing exams first (before general requirements I only need 12 more general education credits)because from what I understand, The cpne cant be scheduled until all nurses exams completed and their is a wait time for CPNE date, so in that time waiting I could complete my general requirements? or will I need that whole time to study for CPNE? what are most people doing?
