You will be fine with getting a job, particularly since Excelsior is a NY school and is very highly regarded.
Clinicals shouldn't be impossible. They are mostly NOTHING that you haven't already done. The lab simulation is where the skills you haven't used - setting an IV drip by a clamp and gravity, IV push - come in. You've mixed meds in a syringe, given IM and SQ shots, and done wound care.
Go for it.

any students and or nurses that went to excelsior and live in rochester, ny or NYS for that matter?? i'm wondering if you had any difficulty getting a job bc i don't know any people that have gone to excelsior college! help i wanna make the right decision for my career. also...i work at a nursing home. do you think the clinicals will be way over my head????:bowingpur

I certainly hope I won't have trouble finding a job when I finish this program!
