May I ask if anyone can share their experiences and tips on studying for the Microbiology exam offered by Excelsior? What kinds of study materials are recommended?

I took the EC practice exams, read some sections of the text, and read "Microbiology Demystified." Got an A.

I used studygroup101 ($10) and youtube (free) got an A.

Speaking of free — for enrolled students, I believe that Microbiology Demystified is available as an ebook in the Excelsior College library.

I am not sure who you are addressing (pro tip: use the "quote" function to respond! :)), but I think I prepared for about 4 to 6 weeks.
