  1. study group 101 has a bunch in each of their study guides. not free but worth it!!
  2. studygroup101.com there's a little cut out card in the quizzes that i use and it helps you with priority questions.
  3. I think you should study everything.
  4. Congratulations!
  5. they didn't go out of business but i heard they changed there name so they can fool more people.
  6. I used studygroup101 ($10) and youtube (free) got an A.
  7. Did you mean the clinical perfomnce exam instead of nursing theroy conference? The ntcx exams are different than the clinical. You can take courses or the conference exams or just the exams. The exams are like $110 - 355.oo so tuition is only like $6000 total including the clinical and depending on what requisites you need.
  8. You can get the nursing catalog from excelsior and look through it and it will give you an idea of what exams you need to take and yuor options. Definitely look into study group 101 they make study guides and audio for cheap.
  9. I used study group 101 the study guide and the audio and passed it. It wasn't easy and I would have liked an a but I didn't get one, but at this point as pass is a pass!!!. Follow the syllabus and study all the sections I do the practice exams, the study guide and all the quizzes and review the questions I missed until I test. The audio cd really comes in handy driving back and forth to work. I recommend it.
  10. The first time pass rate is like 69% not 10-20% like you said, which is not fantastic but when I started it was 62% so things appear to be improving. Excelsior College | Nursing Lots of people pass the clinical, just as lots fail. Its all up to you on whether you put in the time and practice and get your nerves under control. I'm looking forward to it!!! I've been told there are outside workshops that are better than the excelsior one, so I will probably do one o fthem and a care plan class.
  11. Dont listen to naysayers. Not everyone makes it in any program anywhere and you'll always have someone who posts negative stuff. I read somewhere that 42 thousand rns have gone through excelsior. That's alot of nurses. Get the nursing catalog from excelsior and read it!!! Lots of important info there that will help you decide.
  12. Wow so your failure is everybody's fault but yours? How can you "disagree" if someone else said they passed because they used studygroup??? How would you even know? Just because they passed and you didn't doesn't make them wrong and you right. I intend to use it because lots of people have said it is helpful. But if I pass or not is on me not the study guide the textbook or the college.
  13. I used studygroup101 it's only ten dollars and covers every thing. I took the cleop human growth exam.
  14. The college network is no more. They changed their name and are now calld global learn and class probably due to all the lawsuits and media coverage. You can still go through excelsior college for your degree but you are probably stuck with your colleg network payments.
  15. yes the uexcl is like clep exams. I got study group101 study guides for my exams. They are cheap and a n excellent resource if your interested I went that route cause I'm paying outta pocket too. I would think if you've had anatomy and micro before you shoulndt have a problem with exams cause it would be review?
