I have all my general requirements complete except Info Lit. Is this a class or can I just take a test like the nursing theory exams? I looked up info lit in the test registration section and class registration and could not find it in either .... Can someone help me?!

penn foster's info lit cost $115 with tax and takes 2 hrs to complete. excelsior does approve it.
Thanks for the info! How long does it take to complete at Excelsior?

The EC one took me about a day, but it was also closer to $300 at the time I took it. Penn Foster is much cheaper!

I took the EC one as well. Except it took me a few days I would read a few modules a day. It was really easy though. It just depends on how much time you have to spare :)

Do you have to be enrolled in Penn foster to take the class or is like being a transient student. B/c i'm planning on starting Excelsior next month and all I need is my nursing classes and info lit.

I just found out that as of Nov 1 Info Lit is no longer waived for a Masters degree earned before 2005. Guess I'll be going the Penn Foster route as well.
I think the course number is ENG103.

Hello, my name is Phyliss, and I will soon be starting EC in Jan. What class are you going to take first?
