Just remember, don't put too much faith in that score. Whether you get a 70 or an 80 you can still fail if you aren't careful. When you download the content guide from Excelsior pay special attention to the percentage of each section. You may have five sections but one may be 5% while another section is 20%, and yet another is 10%...anyway, I'm sure you get the picture. But, let's assume you got all the questions right in the 5, 10, and 15% areas but only got 40% of the questions right in the more weighted section. Odds are you have just failed that exam. Although your score may have been 80 out of a 100(80% overall) you still failed the exam because you failed one the heavier weighted sections. Does that make sense? Just be sure to analyze your practice exam after you have finished. Read all of the questions over AND the rationales. Right or wrong, you need to know WHY you got it right or wrong. The practice exams are a GREAT tool if used properly. You are paying $65 for this two part practice exam...make sure you get your moneys worth out of it! I have only taken three of the exams so far but with two "A"s and a "B" this formula works for me. I took Health Safety on 3/25(A), Transitions on 4/8(B) and Health Differences on 4/15(A). I will be taking Chronicity on 4/28....that's four tests in roughly a month so this is working for me. I'm not saying it will work for you but give it a try! Good Luck.
Getting high scores on the practice test are very hard. If I got above a 60 on the practice test, I went and took the real test at pearson vue. I usually passed. I failed 2 test but took them over.I think you would pass the test if you took the real thing. You may not get an A or B but probably a C. So if your looking for high grades, study a little more. My goal was to pass.
