excelsior college not recognized by Maryland anymore??

A co-worker just received a letter telling her that anyone not enrolled in Excelsior College before July 25, 2006 will not be recognized by the Maryland board of nursing. Does anyone know anything about this? I think the letter she got came from the College Network. Is this really true?

I'm not fully clear after reading the link. Could a Excelsior graduate simply get a RN license in another state 1st then apply for Maryland?

I would not go by anything MBON tells you on the phone. They are notorious for giving out false info. Be very cautious.
