Hi everyone,
I'm new to this so bear with me. I am currently a United States Navy Corpsman (medical) and certified EMT. I have just started pursuing my ASN through Excelsior College's credit by examination program. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good four-year schools that accept Excelsior's C.E.'s towards a BSN. If I get selected for naval officer, I will be sent to a four-year school and want to make sure my Excelsior C.E.'s will transfer. It doesn't matter where the school is, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

As far as I can figure, none of the individual courses will transfer to any of the schools I've checked with so far. BUT, you do receive a certain number of standard credits for your RN license (50 or 60 depending on the school), and that doesn't matter which school you attended, it goes by the license. A couple I've checked will require an Anatomy & Physiology with a formal lab, Micro with lab, Chemistry with lab... my Psych, Soc, English, Life span, religions, etc will all transfer because they are from community college or CLEP/DSST credits, so those are good . I don't know if that helps.....B
