I will be taking my CPNE in Mansfield the weekend of Nov 18-20. Will anyone else be there?

I know this is not the answer to your question, am just asking, does it really take this long for EC to give you a date for you CPNE, I thought the wait is now about 3 months, I am new to EC.

I am submitting my application this week, and dragging my feet as I try to decide where to go for my CPNE. I am in MN, so I could very well end up on your weekend if I decide to go there. May I ask what you chose for your ready date and when did you apply?

Loops, I heard that the site in Racine, Wisconsin is closing as of August, but that they are opening another one in the MPAC region (not sure where).... maybe another Texas? I can't remember now.
Interesting! I wonder why? I am seeing quite a few dates for Nov MPAC, and that is getting into my worst times for being busy. My CPR being out of date really screwed me up. How do you like your Beginning CPNE online class? I am worried about starting anything now if I am looking at Nov/Dec

Hey I just completed mine and i dont think anything could have prepared me for that weekend.... I passed all the labs expect the piggy back because I forgot to lower the primary bag... SO DO THAT FIRST so you dont forget!
On the second day i failed everything and was very discourage and couldn't understand why. So I went back to the hotel and came up with a game plan... Form a check list that starts with introducing yourself all way to the last assessment that they have assigned you. So when you chart you wont miss anything because you can read over your check list of things that you have done. The preceptors are really nice and they want you to pass but when it comes to the paper work either you know it or you dont. Needless to say on the last day I passed everything Thank God... if you need any more tips let me know more than happy to share my experience:yeah: so they next person can pass

I was hoping to test the following weekend if there are any slots open? Have you heard anything about the Mansfield testing site? Very nervous here!!!

Patricia, I am testing in Mansfield in December. I have been on the discussion boards on the excelsior website and have heard from a few people that the place is really nice and the CE's are also and act like they want you to pass!
Thanks for the heads up...It looks like my savings will be ready by January to test in Mansfiled. Did you get a date very quickly? Good luck to you!
