Excelsior ADN and Straighterline

Published

Has anyone taking A&P 1 with Lab through straighterline.com to complete their requirements for the ADN program? I am just worried if I try and go to a traditional BSN when I finish that I will have to repeat since I do not have a lab w/Excelsior. I was just wondering how the workload was and how long it takes to complete a course. I was planning on taking the Excelsior exam in a few months. Any advice would be appreciated guys :-)

ok i have 2 chapter under my belt and i love it the book is wonderful all the test questions come out of that book..but you got tp know the material you do not have a lot of time to look anything up..but they give you a lot of review tools for muscle memory. my lab has not arrived yet..im doing a chapter test a day I like this program

I just took my 3rd chaper test with STRAIGHTERLINE A&P -1 .. and only 13 more to go till the end of class.. the test are timed at 40 min.. for 25 questions... and hard.. I studied for around 10 hours for this.. and got 21 out of 25.. you must know the material and "APPLY' it to the answer list.. this is not going to be a cake walk.. but with work.. I will get it done.. have not started on the labs yet but any day now..

Well I have completed 4 chapters tests. and have a B+ average.. I have some labs to do for chapter 3 but the class and the book are slow going for me.. it is very thick.. rich stuff so much info.. the test are timed. and you do not have time to look up the answer. which is a no no. as the testing rules state you are not to use your book.or internet.. but I like the class I just have to slug through it.. one chapter at a time.. please feel free to send me a message. for any questions

ok kinda of stuck.. the sun came out and the book went closed.. go fig... well here in alaska when the sun is out. for more than an hour is party time.. still have labs to do. and got to get back to the books.. but the class is fun. and I love the book.. the test questions are kind of like EC.. you have to apply the info you have learned.. not many really fast answers.. but I will keep slugging through . as long as the sun does not stay out to long..
