455 Excellence

So I thought I would tell you about my adventure so far with excellence..

Mod 1:

2 "assignments"- one looking at various websites to figure out what they do for the US, not to bad, the second assignment was all about the US Global Health Initiatives, aka ObamaCare, I struggled with this one because well I have major disinterest in the subject

we also had a DB, not bad responses didn't need sources

Mod 2:

Uh.... how about 5 assignments this week... and 2 DBs... some of the assignments weren't hard, i mostly struggled with the DBs because one was about medicare and medicaid, and one assignment was all about the various types of insurance, HMO PPO PSO etc.. VERY exhausting

ok...so maybe 2 classes at a time is not the way to go this class....shoot! because that was my plan.

Thank you for the update. I'll be taking it next time with 2 other classes. It can be done, I'm sure. I'll just be very busy until am.

3 discussion boards: 1 about nursing excellence, 1 comparing 2 certifications available through the ANCC, and 1 about MAgnet Recert.. not to bad just obnoxious

Thanks for the update about NRSE 455 Excellence! A bunch of us will be taking it next time around can you keep us updated about modules 4 and 5? This is info. that is good to know, thanks again!

Mod 4:

Had to update the resume

Write a paper on nursing roles in regards to global health (2-3 paragraphs)

A discussion board about a health article and whether or not you agree with it, plus 2 replies

A discussion board about the challenges are healthcare faces, plus 2 replies..

Mod 4 really wasnt bad at all! I had everythign done yesterday except my replies..

I'll let you know about Mod 5 next week!

Mod 5:

A little bit more busy,

3 papers- one is a reflection, and one was a business letter

1 discussion board

this class was not bad at all! i finished with an A and slacked off on a few things!
