Excel Spreadsheet to schedule OBRA MDS

I am computer literate but never learned how to do much in Excel. My MDS software isn't user friendly for scheduling MDSs and I don't have an MDS person at the moment.

Does anyone have an excel spreadsheet that schedules? I'd like to be able to type in the date of one ARD and have the 90 days (or whatever) automatically populate.

I know there is a list on line which covers the entire year, but there must be an easier, less prehistoric way of doing this.

Thanks in advance.

We can't attach Excel docs so I'll show the DIY instead --

  • Open Excel
  • Highlight cells A1 and B1 >> Right click on the cell >> choose "Format Cells"
  • On Number tab, choose Date, then choose how you want the date to appear
  • In A1, you will enter the ARD
  • In B1, enter the formula --> =A1+91

If you stick w/ the MDS instruction (previous ARD of last OBRA + 92 days), the formula is =A1+92. I like +91 to have a cushion.

I've got one - thanks to Talino and a few of the Geek Squad members.
