Every other weekend

So, how's the scheduling work around your off weekend? We're usually scheduled to work the thurs/fri & mon/tues of our off weekend. Makes me nuts.

As a night shifter, I preferred to have the Friday night off at a minimum. If Thurs night was off, even better.

We worked a two week rotating schedule-Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs. The first week was tough but week 2 was really nice. It also made scheduling vacations nice because you could take your Wed & Thurs off and have a whole week while only being charged 2 days PTO.
