EvCC spring 2015 applicants

Just wanted to start a thread for spring applicants and can post TEAS scores if desired. I got a 79.3 on my first attempt and didn't get in for winter. I am stuck trying to decide if I should retake for spring. They only take the second score so its a gamble if I happen to score lower. Anyone else in a similar situation?

They go off of your TEAS score and then if you have the same TEAS score as someone else then they compare your GPA's. What is your TEAS score Dott?

88% but I'm worried because I got 93-94 in reading math and science but 67% in the english section so i hope that doesn't hurt my chances!

Nope you just have to have a minimum of 69% in the English section. So you are good. With your score I'm sure you got in. I wouldn't be worried at all. They just make sure that you meet the minimum in each section but mainly look at your overall TEAS score.

My score was a 79.3. Not very good chances of getting in. This is my 3rd time applying so I'm really hoping to get in this time. :( I'm just really nervous.

I think someone got in last Spring with a TEAS a little below that.... I'm not 100% but I will ask when I see them next. Hopefully we hear soon because I think not knowing is worse because you drive yourself nuts!

Did you call to see when we should be expecting letters? Everybody I know that applied has said different things!

I got an 82.7 on my teas. Not sure how its going to go, but the wait for the letters is super hard.

I got my letter!!!! Not sure how it came so quickly since it is dated for Feb. 13th. But I'm in!!!!!!! I am so excited and I hope everyone on here got in. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.
