Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, I haven't found a forum for the new nursing application for Evergreen Valley College. I was wondering anyone can share their scores. I have 62, I am not sure if its high enough to get into the program.

Have any alternates been contacted for admission sense the recent complio deadline?

I haven't heard yet. I reached out to Denise and she said that they are still waiting for the clinical sites to decide how many students they will accept.

Does anyone know historically what the lowest amount of points a person got admitted? I am thinking this is so competitive and so impacted anything below 70 won't get in

I read somewhere the cut off score was 60-65 last year!! My friend got in with a 61. I guess it depends on how many applicants score high. as of right now if I’m calculating correctly I have a 62.

Hi,

I'm a little confused about the TEAS section. Can I send my highest TEAS score in?

Your first passing score. So if you scored under 62% the first couple of times just submit the first passing. What is your counted points you’re applying with?

How do they define direct patient contact for relevant work experience? I ask because I work at cvs as an RX supervisor. So I work in the front store but also help in the pharmacy (helping retrieve patients medications and such). I’m wondering if this would allow for any points in the relevant job exp? (I also work as an emt but do not have enough hours in this position yet for it to be applicable)

If people don’t mind sharing there experience with getting points in the relevant work experience that’d be great!

I would just ask your employer to write a letter and submit. They have to review the information so you never know! Worth a try.

Applying for the EVC nursing program this October 2021 cycle with 67 points. Do you think that's a good chance?? Heard last years cut off score was 68, but not including those who were wait listed.

Hey guys,

Quick question! When you put that you had work experience did it ask to upload a letter in the application itself? Mine doesn’t seem to showing the submission attachment when I put I have work and volunteer experience.

Hey guys! How do you find out how many points you have?

When you're applying you pretty much go off the generic nursing application multi- criteria chart on the nursing page. Are you applying this current cycle?
