European qualifications in Australia

Hi, I'm trying to find some details on behalf of my girlfriend. She's currently studying at the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland (Warszawski Uniwersytet Medyczny). 2 years into a 3 year course of Bachelor of Nursing and is contemplating doing her Masters in Australia.

Would anyone have any information regarding recognised qualification from Europe being recognised in Australia? I know the NHS has doctors/nurses and even helicopter pilots here in Aus but I would like to get concrete details about it all. She would like to also work here with her Bachelors once she has finished her third year and then work while she studies her Masters.
