Does anyone ever bet on how high levels will be? LOL We used to do that!

What's the highest you've seen?

I can't remember the highest number, but it certainly was incompatible with life!

350 for a woman complaining of seizures. She got annoyed that I didn't want her up walking around with such a high risk to fall and signed out AMA. I was surprised the doc let her go. (relieved too)

715:banghead: is the highest I have ever come across. Many times you have to check the anion gap because the etoh will be through the roof due to the patient drinking rubbing alcohol:yeah:!
