I am currently going to school for nursing i just started. one of my classes, my instructor is asking me to do a essay about the career ive picked which is (Nursing). The essay has to be 3 pages long in we have to cite it and use AP style which confuses me i dont get the point of all this. and im stuck on what could i write about nursing that will be 3 pages long ...??

APA is the standard formatting style used in nursing programs to format papers and cite sources. The sooner you become proficient at APA basics, the better off you will be in school...especially since most schools will take off points or even fail you for an assignment that is not correctly cited with APA.

Purdue is awesome! I love their citation website. As for the essay, you could write about why you want to be a nurse & maybe talk about some famous nurses?
