ER nurses make $144,000 a year!

WOW...ER Nurse...work hard to make 70,000. 144,000 can if there's a lot of OT allowed, some areas send you home of take you off the schedule if you have too much OT and also UNCLE SAM will eat you another hiney...:cool:

Even if this figure is true for NY or California...consider the cost of living. On top of that the taxes eat you alive. I personally know someone who lives in a plain house in Bethpage and pays over $12,000 a year in property taxes!

Bottom line, that $144,000 figure is grossly overinflated. I don't know anyone who can work 6, 12 hour days a week, for very long anyway. This is beyond insanity and not doable in the least.
