Agency/Registry that work with independent contractors

Nurses Entrepreneurs

I worked as an IC in southern CA last year using my S-Corp. I would like to work in northern CA doing the same. I have thought about trying to obtain a contract directly with the hospital but after reading many posts on this site I am having some second thoughts. If I could find an agency or two that I can use my S-corp with then I would enjoy the benefits without the hassle.

Does anyone know of or work with a company that uses IC??

Thanks so much!

Once you have 15 public board posts, you can then send private messages.

Hello Kraze,

I have a list of agencies that will contract with independents. I think it is quite extensive with 36 different agencies. E-mail me if you want it.

I would love a list if it is not too late. Thanks, krazenurse

Any updates on this thread? Did anyone ever get a listing of the agencies?

I have not received a list of agencies using independent contractors. I think the climate over the country is not open to this at the moment. It is difficult to get a FT position for many nurses.

If I find any information I will post it.

I must be losing my mind, but I thought that you were the one posting that you had a list of agencies that work with IC's. If you have the magic list, it is worth its weight in gold. If anybody out there can give light to this list thingy or knows of a company that is willing to work with IC's, lemme know. I read a post that a nurse found a company that takes 15% of her contract salary..... I could live with that on California money.

:wink2: I'd love to see this contact list as well, if you are willing to share. Exploring Independent Contracting as well.
