CNA work is hard. It takes a special person to be able to work in that position. It is a rewarding, but often thankless. And there will be plenty of fluids and vomit. Also, since you have small ones, you will probably work EO weekend.
Becoming a MA would probably suit you well- however you still may need to clean vomit- should someone become ill in the office. The hours would be good- they work the same hours as the doctors office is open.

Hi, I just joined yesterday. I'm 42 and been at home for 15 years raising my four children. My youngest will be starting kindergarten in the fall and I so want to get back to work. I don't want to do what I did before I had children (Mortgage business). I want to get into the healthcare field but have no experience. I was considering taking a CNA program. I feel this would be a good start to see what healthcare is all about and if I would like to advance. But as I read about it I'm not so sure if I could do it because of some of the responsibilities such as taking a feces and sputum
samples (not sure on the spelling). Even when my kids get sick and throw up I almost want to throw up. Can you be a CNA and work in a doctors office getting the patient ready for the doctor to see them. OR does anyone have any adivce??
Thanks
