Nursing Students TEAS

Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to aim for if your school requires a Program percentile rank rather than a series of scores, etc. There is another thread where people are sharing their scores, but it looks like most people are just sharing their Adjusted Individual Total Score or whatever applies to their particular school. By sharing all the info, we can help each other better.

Please copy the scores below and then change them to your own, in your post! thanks! Please make sure to check your Program Type! It's right under the name of the school where you took it, on your score sheet.

The test was by no means easy. If I hadn't studied for months I would have bombed it. I'm still working on my science prerequisites too. Feel free to ask if you have questions!

I took the TEAS V exam yesterday and got an overall 93.3%. My last post came out all weird and hard to read so I'm re-posting. This was my first attempt at the TEAS V. I spent 8 weeks studying, and I even created a 3-in 3-ring binder full of TEAS material including notes, drawings and practice tests. I basically treated my studying like a class. I would do a minimum of 2 hours a day and take off one day a week.

I am so glad I did well on this exam because starting September 1st, ATI is switching to the new version of the exam: ATI TEAS. Although it is probably similar, it is still a different exam with a different style of questions. I would have had to buy new study materials which are NOT cheap. Also, I still haven't taken anatomy and physiology I or II. These are my last two prerequisites, and I know I would have scored higher in science had I already taken those courses. My advice is to take A&P beforehand, but you can still do well without it if you put in the study time. Feel free to ask any questions! I'm applying to my BSN program at Texas State University this fall! Fingers crossed :)

I took a TEAS test and I got this and I don't understand it, can someone explain to me?

If you don't mind me asking, what books did you use to study? How long did you study before taking the test? Did you purchase any apps to help with studying or buy any practice exams?

I was over-joyed with my score, got into my program on the first try. Couldn't be happier.

The only advice I could offer is really understand what the question is trying to ask you. I found that the TEAS test had keywords that really tipped you off to what it wanted. Other than that, it had mistakes and was super vague. I bought the exam booklet and got used to the types of questions, rather than the information the booklets offered. The booklet gave me what to expect, and the nursing prerequisites gave me the information I needed.
