Ok so I am not working full-time or anything but I pick up a few homecare shifts a week as a CNA.
It's obviously so much nicer then LTC or Acute care. I actually don't dread going into work and when my shift is over I say "that's it?".
Just nice because I want to keep up my hours so I can renew my license and the stress is low enough I can actually focus on schoolwork in the evenings. When I was doing LTC with like 12 patients I thought I was going to go mad.
I can see myself doing this a long time and it will be great because it'll look good on my resume. I tend to job hop a lot with LTC because of the stress!
So just food for thought.. if you are fed up with LTC.. try homecare!!
