I have a question about English test. I got my RN license in NY last year, now Im working on obtaining NJ license. I saw that NJ requires the toefl/ielts/toeic as proof of English. I have a bachelor degree in Liberal Arts from NYU but I have Nursing Associate Degree from abroad. Do I still have to take these tests if I have Bachelor Degree from US?

NJ BON language requirements:
Quote Have passed an English proficiency examination (applies to graduates of an international education program not taught in English or if English is not the individual's native language);

You could query them if NYU degree acceptible proof of English competency.

Depends. Graduating from a US College or University definitely dictates English proficiency, however if English is your second language some schools may see differently. I think already having your US RN license should be proof enough, but that is up to the school. Just ask the school.
