If you work at a endoscopy/colonoscopy center in the recovery room (not procedure room) are you considered a PACU or Endoscopy nurse?

Since you work in the recovery area, I think PACU.

Why do you ask?
You are recovering "post anesthesia" patients. However they generally are a lower acuity than a patient who had an out patient, moderate, surgical procedure, and certainly a way lower acuity than a patient who has serious medical issues in addition to major surgery.

I have never had to take a GI Exam which isn't really good! I just kind of floated (fell) into most areas of nursing. I probably wouldn't pass a GI Certification Exam either! But if you have some specific questions that give you trouble ask here.
