Hey,
I am a travel nurse from VA wanting to get a NJ license. I have a history of being put in HPMP in VA. I don't want to go through NJ ' program as I'm done with HPMP and haven't had problems. Plus, the most I would be working in NJ is a yr as a traveler. Has anyone endorsed in NJ that went through monitoring...did you have to do their program?

I would hope that once you finish a monitoring program in one state (successfully, it sounds like) that you would NOT be required to join another states program, but, I do not know.
Hopefully, someone here can answer that for you. Good luck and congrats on finishing your "sentence" in VA.
I would have hoped that, too. However, honestly, I wanted a PA license because I love Philadelphia; but, PA told me I might have to do their program to get it. It's a crock of poop. I did my 'time' for 5 yrs in VA and absolutely have no problems now. So, I was gonna try a near by state to work in nearby state and stay in Philadelphia. Maybe Maryland is an option as they are compact. I don't ever see psych travel jobs in Delaware, so that's out

Do you even have to answer 'yes' anymore, if you've done your time? Or do you have a mark on your license?
