Are you a US citizen or permanent resident with a valid work visa and have a valid SSN? NJ no longer issues licenses to those without valid work rights.
You cannot endorse until TX issues you a license.
You can submit the application online or via USPS, but it takes 4-12 weeks (average reported is around 8 weeks recently if all documents are in hand of the BoN) for NJ BoN to process an endorsement.
You will need to be fingerprinted for the NJ BoN as any background check results obtained in TX cannot be transferred to any other state or department.
Yup. Im a greencard holder and have a valid SSN. Should i wait for my license from Texas BON? Im currently residing here in south jersey. Are they going to mail it?
I have no idea if TX even issues physical licenses (many states only have online verification and stopped sending out paper or card licenses) you would need to review the TX BoN website for information. You cannot endorse your TX license until it is in fact issued. You need to contact the NJBoN as you may need to have a CGFNS evaluation and present proof of English proficiency just like initial NJ applicants as NJBoN has been updating the regulations lately, just like now you must include a copy of your birth certificate when applying for a NJ nursing license by examination or endorsement.
