endorsement to nj help!!

hi. i am a nurse here in the philippines and currently waiting for my immigration papers.since i am still here, i cannot provide my ssn number to california. my nclex exam will expire this october. im thinking of endorsement to nj since my employer is located in new jersey. any advice on this? thanks

If your employer is in NJ is that where your job is going to be? If so then it would be better to see what requirements are for NJ and meet them because at some stage you will need a license allowing you to work there. Just to point out though to endorse you need a license and you do not have one so you need to see what the state required which in most cases is apply for License by exam and then arrange, for a small fee, for your NCLEX results to be forwarded from CA to new state

hi. i read the application by endorsement of NJ and they are asking for the SSN number for the application to be processed. Since i dont have one yet, does that mean i cannot apply for their application by endorsement? some of the nurses here in the philippines with a similar situation applied for endorsement at vermont but then if my employer comes from new jersey.

There are many states that now require SSN before they will issue a license however they let you process application. I suggest you contact the state and see what they say.
