Hello all!
Hope you are getting a good start to this semester.
I was wondering if anyone has good resourceful sites for the endocrine system. My AP2 teacher is obsessed with taking physiology to a whole new level and I am struggling. I am having problems because he provides little direction and his lectures are rather disorganized.
I asked about chapter objectives and he looked at me like a martian.
Anyone have chapter objectives for the endocrine system they are willing to send me?
Or a study guide?
We use an excellent textbook, so the information is there, I'm just having a difficult time bringing it all together to study efficiently.
I have really good objectives for AP 1 stuff (integumentary, special senses, muscles, bones, nervous, etc., if anyone would like.)
Of couse, you are welcome to pass along notes too! If I had typed mine I totally would!!!
I really am looking for objectives or a study guide though.
Like .. "be able to list" "be able to illustrate/explain this.."

Not sure if this is what you need but I love Endocrine web
It's where I send all my patients for information about disease process and it has some great pictures and explainations.

I took AP over 10 years ago and I almost always would go online and do a seach using the keywords "Endocrine System Online Tests" and you will find page after page of quizes and other material to help you learn it. I did this with every chapter and I passed with an "A". You will find some great sites that way :)

My textbook has an excellent online resource. Go to www.mhhe.com/saladin4. You have to click on resources at the top. The Endocrine system is chapter 17. Click on chapter 17 to expand and then under more resources there is a crossword puzzle, flashcards, study outline, labeling excersises and more. I am truly looking forward to using this resource more, so far it is really great.
