Hi guys! My application for Medical City is in progress. I'm scheduled for an examination next week.

Anyone here who has passed the exam/s and interviews for Medical City? What is the exam like?

Any particular topics I need to focus on?

Is it true it has enumeration and identification items?

How many interviews will i expect after passing the exam?

Do they have panel interviews?

I really want to work at Medical City so I need all the tips and help I can get apart from my studying and preparations.:nurse:

I would appreciate any tips and help from you guys.:specs:

Thanks in advance!:)

also focus on the basics, 4 chains of survival, meaning of basic vs , pulse , temp, bp. handwashing, nursing bill ,diseases and corresponding drug of choice ie for stroke, pneumonia, malaria, thypoid. iv meds computations.

Yup u can be a staff by being a trainee because those trainees passed the pre employment exams

how can i apply for training? and did they accept nurse who doesn't have any hospital experience? tnx for the reply

hey anne.. they accept everyone with or without experience and regardless of board rating also.. but to apply.. u must have a referral.. for them to schedule you for exam.. if you dont have one.. it will be useless since they will just tell you to go to their website and apply there.. godbless in your application

Good luck to all who would be taking the pre-employment exams! Too bad I wasn't included. :)

hmm you have your backer that's why you are informed to take the exam.. just read on the previous threads.. you will see where to focus! godbless!

wow that was really harsh. some of us who got to take the exam actually worked hard to be able to sit for the exam, without backers.

Oh so how would you differentiate one from the other? Does being a trainee mean you can be a staff nurse or it's the other way around?

after applying for the exam, you will have to wait a few months for a text or call informing you of the exam details. getting to sit for the exam is already an accomplishment. then you have to pass the entrance exam to get into the ntap as a trainee. once you finish the program you will be deployed as a nurse when they find a vacancy for you.

@bubbles.. so are u already hired in medical city? do u think.. after the training.. will i be hired? or wat do u think is the percentage of being hired? hehe thanks

[is medical City still hiring nurses? When was it started. Can I still submit resume? :)

i just passed their entrance exam, but to get in the ntap i need to pass their psych exam and panel interview.. once you finish the ntap, you'll have to wait for your contract/ deployment.

medical city is always open on accepting applicants. all you have to do is log your name into their list of applicants in the h.r. youll have to wait around 6 months to get a call/text informing you of your exam. i heard not everyone who enlists their name gets the exam. best of luck to everyone here!
