Employment process at The Medical City (Ortigas Ave.)

Published

Hi guys! My application for Medical City is in progress. I'm scheduled for an examination next week.

Anyone here who has passed the exam/s and interviews for Medical City? What is the exam like?

Any particular topics I need to focus on?

Is it true it has enumeration and identification items?

How many interviews will i expect after passing the exam?

Do they have panel interviews?

I really want to work at Medical City so I need all the tips and help I can get apart from my studying and preparations.:nurse:

I would appreciate any tips and help from you guys.:specs:

can anyone there help me about the preemployment exam at TMC? most of the post here says that "you must focus on MS", i need to know the specific topics in MS (like DM, CVA, MI), please help me guys. GODbless

@nokolipRN: thanx for the info but most of the posts here suggest to focus on MS. Medsurg is very broad. i dont know where to start. i hope someone will tell me what system i need to focus on. Godbless.

Focus on the disease and their drug of choice.. And then study bls and ivt.. There are some questions about that.. And then focus more on cardio.. Many questions in identification and modified true or false came from that system

@carlo018: Thank u very much. You definitely ease my worries. Godbless.

Hey gusy is TMC currently accepting applicants for volunteer/staff nurse?

there are no volunteers just trainees.. and to be able to be a trainee.. u will undergo series of steps

Oh so how would you differentiate one from the other? Does being a trainee mean you can be a staff nurse or it's the other way around?
