Never mind, someone already started a thread with the same idea here: https://allnurses.com/forums/f164/hospitals-reimburse-tuition-202092.html
Below is my original post:
I skimmed through the past 5 pages of this thread and didn't see a topic about this.
I'm planning to move to Manhattan within the year and I want to attend an lvn/lpn-rn program. The one I'm looking at is Helene Fuld in Harlem. I just graduated LVN school and will take my nclex soon. I know I need 1 year work experience and all that. My question though is, which hospitals or health care facilities in NYC have programs that will reimburse my tuition to Helene Fuld? I went on the school site but it did not list schools and I coudn't find anything on google.
Thanks in advance!
By the way, if you have any info on Helene Fuld, please post or pm me. I'd like to know what it's like.

I just graduated from Helene Fuld. Most of my peers who went to school for "free" did it through the city hospitals. You become elgible after working for them for one year, and you will owe them time in the end. Also 1199 pays for you as well. As a city employee, LPN's are a part of 1199. hope this helps.

i'm an lpn under 1199 and they help pay for my tuition! i love this benefit!
Hey there, would you know if you have to be a full-time employee and how long do you have to work for them before they pay your tuition??? and is true that if you attend school full-time you don't have to work and you still receive your salary????
