Hello everyone! Starting a thread to share our journeys.

Does anyone know about the parking situation for the interview?

Hi,

Congratulations to all of you guys! I am an aspiring CRNA here, for this specific program, do you guys have any tips that will help me along the way before even applying? I start my DEMSN program this fall in Texas, and hope to start as a trauma ICU nurse when I graduate.

Specializes in CVSICU.

You can DM me!

How have the first interviews been? Lots of clinical or any EI mixed in?

I would love to know how it's been! Looking forward to interviews this week.

Anyone send their headshot in late? Not a good first impression but with many application updates happening the same time and moving cities I forgot that part 😕

Well I certainly didn't feel great after my interview. All clinical questions, but I did my best. Anyone else feel the same?

It was really challenging, definitely a lot of questions I wasn't prepared for.

I felt the same way. My interview was on 8/5. It was all clinical, no EI questions or anything about my history leading to this point. I feel like they had no reaction to my answers too. I'm a CTICU nurse and they also asked me Neuro questions.

has anyone heard anything yet? How many questions do you feel like you got right?

I'm a neuro nurse and was asked CV anatomy questions and really in depth questions about pain receptors.

They said by August 26th. Interviews are going until 8/19. I felt like I got some correct and in depth but others I couldn't even think through how to answer....

Did they ask anyone why they want to be a CRNA? I didn't get any questions like that it was like rapid fire clinical questions

They asked me the NCLEX question too
