Hi ! Is there anyone who is considering entering the Emory D-ABSN program this Summer who has been accepted or waiting on a decision? I would like to discuss this program with anyone else who is going there.

Hi I graduated in the first cohort of this program. And I had an offers in both of my top choices (peds/NICU) within 5 days after graduation. Now I’m currently working as a NICU nurse. So I would say that employers don’t really care about the details of the program as long as you pass the NCLEX which is really the most important.
For those of you who got in/waitlisted, what “round” of admissions did you apply in-early, priority, regular, etc? What was your cumulative GPA if you don’t mind answering? I applied for the fall of 2021 and my first bachelors degree is in behavioral science. I have a 3.48 cumulative GPA and 3 years of healthcare experience (and continuing). I’m a behavioral health technician at the moment. I’m trying to get a good feel for where I stand in the applicant pool.

Hi Kristina,
I applied for the D-ABSN as well for the Fall of 2021. Are you awaiting the decision date of November 13 as well? Or have you received your decision already?

Does anyone know where I can find the updated list of states they do not accept students from for the D-ABSN?
Thanks!
Lesia
Hi Lesia,
It appears as if Emory has removed the list from their website. I contacted admissions and apparently you need to tell them where you live first and they will let you know if it's possible.

You may want to ask the admissions office. I doubt anyone here would have enough insight to know the answer.
