Emory transfer BSN 2022

Published

Hi, is anyone got accepted from Emory nursing 2022 for transfer? If yes, do you have any tips?

Specializes in Physiology/Microbiology.

Hi guys, I'm also on the waitlist LOL. Does anyone know how to submit a loci? Not really sure what to do at this point.

Hey everyone! Those who have decided to attend Emory, please let me know if you are interested in the Veterans Affair programs (VANAP, HPSP, VALOR).

Step 1. VANAP- specialized veteran centered education with small cohort and clinical in VA.

Step 2. HPSP- Scholarship- full tuition covered, monthly stipend, yearly textbook advance.

Step 3. VALOR- Summer externship and opportunity to continue through the year in your senior year.

Our Emory VANAP director is looking for more applicants! Please let me know if you are interested and I will share more information about it with you. Basically you will receive veteran specialized education (VANAP) and will get your tuition covered with monthly stipend (HPSP) and better chances at getting an externship at the VA (VALOR) extern pay is VERY HIGH compared to my other offers from surrounding hospital.

Please email me using your .edu and I will send you the information and forward you to the VANAP director.

My email: [email protected]

If you are interested, please email me asap as they are looking to the fill spots asap. But it is a very good experience and I cannot be more grateful to the VA. I am attending Emory tuition free, with a stipend of around $1183 each month, and they also gave me another 1k for textbook/supply each year. And also got an externship at the VA and the pay rate is awesome. Like not even joking awesome. Last year they got paid like $25 an hour and if I'm not reading my offer letter wrong (hopefully not), it's around $29 this year. But I'll know for sure once I start orientation next month and I'll update it here for future references for others later next month. But it's still higher compared to 2 other hospitals around here.

Anyway I applied for the VANAP first then once I interviewed and got accepted I immediately apply for HPSP scholarship mid July and got my offer in about a week. I listed my experience in the VA hpsp thread last year that you can take a look at as well. And then applied for VALOR Spring semester and got  extern offer in about 2-3 weeks after interviewing. But the interviews are pretty chill and I'm not the most talkative person .
