Emory transfer BSN 2022

Published

Hi, is anyone got accepted from Emory nursing 2022 for transfer? If yes, do you have any tips?

Hi! I applied priority so I am awaiting for tomorrow’s decisions. I am doing a 3/2 degree program, but I am still nervous. I want to order a sweatshirt already LOL or at least be at peace with whatever the decision may be. it means a lot to me as a minority.

did you apply?

Yes, and I got waitlisted. What is a 3/2 degree program about? Did you get an email?

the 3/2 program is an agreement with other metro Atlanta colleges where you pursue a liberal arts degree for 3 years and then transfer to emory to pursue the BSN for two years. a lot of the transfer cohorts come from these schools, hence why the acceptance rate is so low because 3/2 students receive priority admission and most spaces are filled by early decision as a result.

im hopeful that you'll be admitted from the waitlist. you've got this!

Hi! I applied early decision II for BSN transfer and got in!! I’m transferring from UGA

Thank you for all your kind words!

I did some research about that program, and It would be great before I apply nursing school! So you will be get 2 diploma from two colleges, right? That's cool! If you don't mind, could you share your stats?

And, congratulations:)

you're welcome!

my stats are: 3.59 GPA (got one 'C' last year in a non STEM class due to some health reasons. Science GPA is a 3.69 I think? But I'm sure that they only factor in your cumulative GPA. I sent my SAT before knowing about the score waiver, so it was 1250 from three years ago. I wrote about my interest in reproductive justice for my 'why emory' essay and wanting to continue that at emory as a nurse instead of as an activist. also talked about my school's support of social justice and how I wanted to enroll in a nursing school that acknowledged that in the healthcare field!

Heyy I also just got on the waitlist on March 18 and was wondering what you included in your LOCI. Do you think your updates on what you’ve been up to pushed admissions to accept you?
