Emory Spring 2021 Nurse Residency Atlanta

Published

Hey everyone! I just applied to the Spring 2021 Residency here in Atlanta! I'll be graduating this December. I wanted to make a forum so everyone who has applied to this residency, or any residency in Atlanta, can stay up-to-date and informed! I'm so excited!! I am waiting for Piedmont to post the residency application for Spring 2021 as well

I received my formal offer letter, contract and orientation information today!

To which location? @blldg21

Emory Hillandale ER

For whoever hasn't taken their boards yet, I took my NCLEX at the end of October and would highly recommend buying UWorld. I used it to study for about a month and half and it really prepared me for the exam.

It’s scheduled to start March 15 for Northside Hospital in Atlanta. I just did my interview this morning and got my offer letter a couple hours later. Is there anyone else here who will be working at Northside?? Congrats to everyone who got offered positions as well!

Thank you for you response! Yes, I spoke to a recruiter a few weeks back and she informed me I had applied a bit too soon. I'm going to apply again next month with apps open for Summer cohort! Congrats on your offer. Northside is my number 1 choice.

Yes it was definitely my Number 1 choice as well. I’ll be working in the MotherBaby Unit. I have already taken my NCLEX and passed it but I waited to get the position I wanted and I’m glad I did. Which unit do u want to apply to? We can stay in touch so when it’s your time to apply if u need any advice or anything I can help.

I definitely feel you on waiting until you get the position you desire vs whatever position you can get. L&D is my 1st choice but mother baby is a close second! I currently live in Southern California and its extremely competitive to land a job in L&D or mother baby so I'm willing to move to Gerogia to land my dream job and Northside is such an amazing hospital, I have no problem with moving. I would love to keep in touch because I'll definitely have questions LOL. Do you have facebook?

Hi Everyone,

I accepted a verbal offer for a neuro ICU position at Emory University Hospital. I'm still waiting for them to send the written documents. Is anyone else coming from out of town? I'm super excited to move, but I don't know anyone in Atlanta.

Has anyone at EUH main campus revived their paperwork yet? I know other locations have

I accepted over email their job offer at Emory midtown. About a week ago I accepted and I have yet to receive anything else, no drug test info etc. I emailed my recruiter yesterday but nothing yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

I haven’t received it but she told me end of November.

Hey guys! I interviewed with Piedmont Atlanta's cardiac unit managers and accepted an offer on the cardiac step down unit! I received an email about two weeks ago from the Northside recruiter to schedule an interview but Piedmont was my first choice! Good luck everyone

Do you have any advice for interviewing for Piedmont Atlanta's cardiac unit?

Just got my official contract from Emory SJ today. Be on the lookout!
